We are just back today from our trip to the States.

I spent the first few days in Philly with friends- wonderful. I was finally able to see Lori and Jason's amazing loft space and Stacey and Josh's new super-adorable house, and spent an afternoon in Rittenhouse Park and evening in Chinatown eating amazing food and drinking very strong cocktails at ( Read more... )

You'll feel better in a few days, I'm sure. I fully understand, though.

If I had known, I would have warned you about USAIR. We have had only bad experiences with them. Ridiculously unfriendly stewards and lost luggage...

I'm sorry you're feeling so homesick. It sucks. I'm glad you had a nice trip and saw lots of your family and friends. The pictures are great.

I'm sorry, too, about the air travel pain! It's so frustrating to lose your bags and have your flights cancelled. We fly USAir a lot because it's the only airline that flies non-stop from Seattle to Charlotte. We usually have good luck with them but have had bad experiences a few times - and they've all been when flying through Philly! I wonder if USAir is just really messed up in Philly. I hope your Aveda products return home to you soon. :)

yes, do not fly USair, especially out of the NE. their lost baggage record is HORRID.

hopefully, you will soon feel 'at home' back in de nederlands
