sorry, this is really random, but....

when you had your flight to Japan, seeing as it was a long flight, where your seats the same size and same leg room as say, the ones you had when you went over to Europe? just wondering.... i was just looking into random travel things and what not.

The plane in general was just... bigger. But, I didn't notice any particular increase in seat sizes or leg room. The only way you get that is by the 6x higher priced Business/First Class upgrade. Hence my not looking forward to my flight home and back again. Blargh.

Did he scribble that shit when he was on heroin or before?

It looks interesting though... I'm always intrigued by modern art that is stomachable and not a giant red dot on a white canvas.

The only reason I know who he is is because there was a movie made about him in which David Bowie played Andy Warhol... so of course, I saw it. I ended up fascinated with Basquiat's life and his art after watching the movie. I totally agree about modern art that ISN'T something out of a mental rehabilitation center being intriguing. ;->

Fucking canvas painted all fucking blue and being fucking titled BLUE... it would have had a LITTLE more effect if they had titled it RED or some shit... UGH.

Yer weird.

Or rather, just not my kind of "art."

I'm not usually a modern art type of girl, but I like his stuff because it actually does have some substance to it... it's not a flourescent light hung crooked and titled "Diagonal." (Yes, I really saw that at the Guggenheim.)
