The hardest part for me about knitting is finding the time when a kid (or two) isn't climbing on me. :)

Exactly! In my mind I'm an expert knitter, but I've barely finished anything because of the kid ;-) I live vicariously through people's blog posts.

*Love them* Great job. I might need to check out that yarn myself :-)

And Fixation is only $5 a ball! It's like the cheapest knit you can get aside from Peaches & Creme dishcloths. :)

Your fingerless gloves are fantastic! Seeing them knit up really makes me want to knit it. This is another great gift idea for a friend who has been pointing our im conversations towards knitted items.

Thanks! They're a good gift knit, they knit up fast and don't take too much yarn. I made these with one ball of Fixation!

I would totally wear them if they said KNIT DORK. :P

If one were to knit those in wool without the elastic that Fixation has, do you think one would have to adapt the pattern much? I'm wanting to make a pair for winter photography stuff... just haven't gotten to it yet.

Not at all, since the pattern calls for wool. I had to adapt it for a thinner yarn.
