Max is watching MST3K Hamlet, which is, by the way, hilarious. And I was telling him how in the original performances of Shakespeare, the audience was very rowdy, etc, and often engaged directly with the actors on stage.

And then Max says, "Oh, so they broke down the 4th wall?"

They use the Mel Gibson Hamlet? Because that is one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Seth had to watch the "To be or not to be" pieced together from all sorts of movies, and I swear to you Mel Gibson was worse than Adam Sandler in Billy Madison. It's so very bad.

It's some black and white dubbed German version. It's wonderful.

Mel Gibson played Hamlet? For serious? Like, in an actual, released in theaters production? Hey, remember when he wasn't crazy?
