Wow, great story, crafted well, and I love the closing line. I know the idea of Luna feeling a bit on the outside is somewhat common in Nargle stories, but the idea of the other two also feeling insecure is innovative and I like how you explained their reasons here.

You're going to write a 'happily ever after' denouement for this, of course ... please???? After reading this I'm just feeling you could generate a lot of warmth/empathy in a scene where they each reassure the other ... and find myself looking forward muchly to same.

Hmmmm...

I was going for a bit of a snapshot of a moment in time for each of the three... so yeah, I was not really looking to tie it up with a nice bow. As I said to Brad I do assume that things would swing back into place for each of them again once that got back to London.

I imagine this sort of insecurity as simply part of a natural ebb and flow in the relationship. We'll see. They may have more to say on the topic.

I hope you enjoyed the fic even without any real resolution!!!

I think everyone has some sort of experience of insecurity in relationships from time to time. I so glad you liked the idea of taking this beyond Luna.

I will need to think about writing more from this point. I certainly have an idea about what happens to make them all feel good -- and more secure -- at least for the time being -- once they get back to Grimmauld Place. I will think about it.

This is beautiful. The beginning was so sensuous (perfect for a grey day, spent mostly indoors!) but then you wove in the insecurities and it became poignant and just...lovely.

She has come to think of it as Harry's "Loony" spot.

I know this is part of Ginny's sad thoughts, but that line gave me a warm, happy feeling. I'm sure things will work out for all of them and that no one will be left alone.

I like to think that Ginny came up with the idea of Harry's "Loony" spot on a day when she was not feeling insecure and that it gave her a warm, happy feeling too, at that time.

Yeah, I think it will all work out. I don't think anyone will be left alone. Every relationship will have it's moments of insecurity and it seems inevitable in a three way relationship that everyone would feel like a third wheel from time to time.

I have a feeling that whatever it is that Luna and Ginny have planned for the evening will bring everyone back into a happy balance!

I've just realized that I never commented on this-I suppose because, you know, I beta'd it.

But rereading it now, nearly two years later, I love it; I love the balance, the different ways in which each of them feels excluded and included... It's an example of what we were talking about the other day-a threesome fic where it isn't all roses and simultaneous orgasms.

It was nice to see this again.
