The scary thing is...they're probably thinking exactly this....*whimpers* This was so in-character that it's not even funny. I loved it though. It was a magnificent 'Lee wanting Kara' story...just fantastic.

I love the tone you set, the simplicity and finality of Apollo's thoughts.
And you get inside their heads so well, because this is EXACTLY what would happen with these two, what has probably happened in the past too. It sums up so completely this endless cycle of their relationship... heartbreaking and hopeless and so very them.
