Dayum!!

"Are you..." Just do it, Starbuck, she told herself. "Are you jealous?"

"Yes," Lee said immediately, not flinching one bit.

As I said....dayum!

So you've managed to neatly move them to a super swish hotel room, with a wonderful view. Lee is getting her all liquored up and being a VERY good listener and is using his bluer than blue eyes to devastating effect.

What more of a perfect set up do they need? *wink*

I love the way you explained Sam's existence in her life. You've stuck to as much of canon as we know and have neatly paralleled it into modern society. Well done.

And you're right about this one heating up...I'm definitely eagerly awaiting the next chapter. I want to know how Kara is going to respond to Lee's unflinching honesty.

I love this rich tapestry you are weaving, I have the picture of them in this setting so clearly in my mind.

Lovely and interesting chapter, please keep writing. :0)

ahh, martha, you see right through me! yes, methinks the next chapter will finally have a little pilot bunny frakking ;). just wait!

thanks so much! in a world that's not post-apocalyptic, wouldn't sam, a superstar athlete, be mostly all about his ego, his fame, and the life he used to have? i like anders on the show - what's not to like? - but on earth, without most of humanity dying in a nuclear attack, he would have been a different person. this is just my take on it.

thanks so much for reading and once again providing your wonderful fb!!!!

Honey, this is so good... so nicely set in our world, but the people we know and love... really great the way you are paralleling the elements like Sam and his being ill...

Can't...CAN'T...wait for more... :o) Jill

I hope you won't have to wait too much longer....Thanks so much for reading, I appreciate everyone who's "going along" with the AU-ness of this fic!

I've been reading this story the whole time, but I'm so f-in' busy all the time that I don't really have the time to leave feedback.

I figured it was about time.

I'm really liking this AU-y goodness. Very different from everything I read and very true to character. Can't wait for more.

Thanks so much!! I'm glad you like it - obviously, I have a slight fondness for the AU :), and I'm so happy when people are willing to go along with these versions of the well-known universe.
