Can someone tell me why almost all my fics ideas come to me when I'm lying in my bed and about to fall asleep?

*hugs* My CW teacher has the theory that you're more likely to come up with ideas while you are busy with something else - be that stressing over homework or trying to fall asleep or whatever because your mind is not focused on trying to write at that time. I'm not sure if she's right. But it'd be one possible explanation. Wished it was the case for me. I miss writing. :(

Well, it must pretty much be that, because when an idea comes up it's never when I'm busy with my writing, it's more when my mind drifts off on a complete other thing LOL.
