Random Acts of Beauty

May 20, 2005 15:47

These are twenty-one of my favorite people (who I don't know).

This started out with me being a blasted sheep and copying lamamacita1981's post, only with my own people. I was doing the gratuitous beauty, the hawt bodies and sexiness and whatnot, but then I decided that it should be something else. So I took off Shakira and Tyson Beckford, and rather than ( Read more... )

Ooh, the pretty! I may stare at all the pretty for a while. Plus, I love your cropping job, shizzle. Especially for Leo and Joaquin.

The three I'd remove would be Hugh Grant, Boyd Holbrook and Liv Tyler and I'd replace them with James Lafferty, Jose Antonio Reyes and Winona Ryder.

James Lafferty because his eyes are gorgeous. Reyes, because he's so fit and plays for Arsenal and Winona Ryder because every movie she's been in I can watch a bunch of times and because she's got a dark yet fresh beauty to her.

Oooh, Lafferty does have just about the most gorgeous eyes in the history or ireses. I'll have to look up Reyes, as I've never heard of him. Anything that I might recognize him from?

But I like your Winona pick. I thought about including her, as I like her acting and film selection, but the shoplifting thing still leaves me kinda cold towards her. *shrug*

This picture of James that Annie put up a few days ago makes me drool. And he's a pretty good actor to add to the lovely eyes--and only a few years older than me! He's like perfect in every way (except his skin is a bit bad--but eh, he's still hot).

I doubt you would've seen Reyes. He's a football (soccer for you) player and a really good one in fact. Great legs, great athleticism and just overall hunky. Plus, he plays for my team, so that ain't bad. ;) Here's a link toa pretty picture of him:

The shoplifting thing did eck me too with Winona, but then I just watched Little Women and Edward Scissorhands and forget about it. ;)

Okay, not only was my link job bad--but my grammer was atrocious too. *facepalm*

Here's the working link and uh, just ignore the last couple of sentences. They don't make much senso, no?

Oh! pretty! How nice!
3 OUT (sort of) 3 IN

- Hugh Grant mmm. One of those "I used to like" folks. Try Hugh Dancy. mmmm... Boy just melts my brain.

- Never mind this one, but I'm the only person I know who doesn't like Brad Pitt. Will not say what I really think he looks like. And can't quite yell "Jonathan Rhys Meyers" as I normally would, as gone and seen two craptastic films of his, and a bit burned out.

- I DO like all your women though. But there's something about that goofy loopy smile of Maggie Gyllenhaal that really makes me happy.

Hmm, Hugh Dancy sounds familiar, but I'm not sure. Has he been I something I might know?

And I think you are the only person I know who doesn't like Brad Pitt. My mother used to not see anything special to do with him, but then she saw Troy, and that was quickly over. But just for fun, what do you think he really looks like?

Aw, I <3 Maggie Gyllenhaal! I think I forgot her...

Hugh Dancy is the latest incarnation of grown up Harry! (haven't checked out his films yet, but he's also the Burberry guy). Check out his mouth!:

um... and yeah... didn't dare say what I really thought about Brad Pitt, but was never into him, and ALL my friends are, and I think (not so) secretly deep down that he sorta looks like a cross-eyed monkey... oops.

But while we're on people who make us swoon, mmmmm.... Tilda Swinton.

hmmmm... androgyny....

LMAO! Seriously, I laughed so hard at that. My dog thinks I'm absolutely mad. But that is just too wonderful! LOL.

And, dude, I'm all over that Hugh Dancy bandwagon now. Can I just say I much I love the fact that the HP fandom uses supermodels to portray its characters? So, so good.

Man, those are the two that I was right on the fence about. I love both of them for the same reasons you mentioned, actually. They should definitely be in here, but I was too lazy to go hunt down pics of them, as most of these people were already on my harddrive.

Mm, good choices. But -

I'd remove Kate Winslet, Jamie Franco, and Clive Owen, to be replaced with Alicia Silverstone, Sean Connery, and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Alicia Silverstone always seems to have a sparkle to her, a sort of laugh hidden under her voice that attracts me to her - I also adore the way her lips quirks. For Sean Connery it's a combination of his voice - the resonance, as well as the accent - and the expressiveness of his face and his mouth. Catherine Zeta-Jones has an elegance to her that I love watching, her voice is spectactular, and I love her smile.

All right, so I have a thing for mouths.

LOL! So it would seem! ;)

I like your choices, especially the women. I've loved watching Alicia go from Clueless to a woman; she really does have this specialness about her that is so endearing. And Catherine is class and elegance personified. 'Nuff said.

lovely choices (well, mostly), and lovely cropping.

out: benicio del toro, nicole kidman, uma thurman

in: Sean Bean (he turns me into a quivering puddle of goo), Callum Keith Rennie (my first fannish love), and Jimmy Stewart (one of the sweetest, most adorable men who ever lived) -- hey, you never said they all still had to be *alive*, right?

Whoa, stud alert on Callum Keith Rennie. I've never heard of him, but I think I shall have to look further into that matter. I needs myself a hunk of that burnin' love...

*cough* Uh, yeah.
