I saw Sin City last night, and just have to say, BEST MOVIE EVAR. I admit, I was taken aback by it all at first-- the violence, the visual immensity of it, the narration-- I literally sat in the theater with my mouth open for the first twenty mintutes. I should have done my research or something before going in, 'cause now I am fully obsessed and

*agrees with everything you said about the movie* especially the comic book come to life part. the more i think back on it the more amazing it is to me.

and i love the icons. cliche styles wouldn't of done the movie any justice.

I know exactly what you mean! I think I must have still been in somewhat of a daze after leaving the theater, because it wasn't until later, when I was explaining the movie and whether I liked it or not to other people that I started thinking, "Wow, it really was THAT great."

the dazed part makes complete sense. i came out not sure what to think. or how to explain the film to someone.

and i loved Josh Hartnett's character's reappearance at the end. talk about coming full circle...

Sometimes I think Brittany Murphy only gets the roles because of her voice.

You know, that may be it. I would almost say that she has a somewhat nice, raspy voice-- except that she grates my nerves like nails on chalkboard and I'm a stubborn slag and refuse to give her even that much credit.

But I almost agree. ;)
