Chapter 17
“I’ll help you with that.” Kanon said cheerfully as she grabbed a box from Natsuki’s pile that she was trying to carry.
Natsuki giggled and said. “Kanon-chan! I didn’t notice you walking in. Now that you can see, I won’t be able to hear your stick tapping on the floor.” Kanon chuckled as she nodded her head. “Yeah, I’ll miss hearing everything with no images.” Kanon sighed and walked beside Natsuki.
“What brings you here? I thought you’re busy with running a company.” Natsuki said and they walked towards a storage room. “I was. My father came back on the job so I was thinking… That I should continue working here.” Kanon said with a big smile. Natsuki quickly dropped her box on the floor and hugged Kanon as she was holding the box.
“If you are then I would be so super happy! We can talk, eat out on our lunch breaks, and go around town together. We could be the bestest friends in the world!” Natsuki squealed as she started to hug Kanon tighter. Kanon smiled awkwardly and noticed that she was having hard time breathing.
“Natsuki-chan, okay. But can I live in order to do those things? It seems you’ll be visiting my grave, if you keep hugging me like this.” Kanon joked and Natsuki slowly let go of her grip off from Kanon.
Kanon bent down and placed the box on the floor. She started to laugh as she reminisce about her days when she worked at the center.
Natsuki bit her lower lip and looked away. She remembered something and she thought it would be a good time to tell her.
“Ne, Kanon-chan. You know those Arashi tickets I gave you?” Natsuki asked. Kanon looked at her and nodded her head. “Yeah. You have incredible timing don’t you? You were probably lying about your friend not be able to go.” Kanon giggled and stood up straight.
Natsuki made a small laugh and said. “Yeah. But that’s not the reason I got them. Actually they were given to me from someone.” Kanon furrowed her eyebrows and slightly cocked her head. “Hm? They were given to you? By who?”
Natsuki sighed and placed her hands on her hips. “By Jun-kun of course. Ever since you left, he’s been stopping by the center to help out with work. A lot of people at the center know him and he would often do your work, knowing and believing that you would come back to Japan to continue working here. Every time he had a chance to grab tickets for Arashi’s TV shows or concerts, he would always give them to me. Hoping that one day, he would be able to see your face.” Kanon widened her eyes and was completely shocked. She couldn’t believe that Jun put in so much effort just to see her again.
Slowly Kanon fell down to the floor and tears of happiness ran down her cheek. She understood Jun’s feelings for her and she was thankful. She was thankful that Jun had waited for all these months for her.
Now it’s her time to give something back to Jun and the other members of Arashi.

“When Johnny-san told us to do this, I was bit shocked.” Nino muttered and walked into a set filled with a green background and flowers. Ohno nodded his head and looked at Nino. “I was thinking of going fishing today but I guess we have work to do.”
Aiba wrapped his arms around Nino and Ohno as he squeezed himself in between them. “Ne, ne. Did Johnny-san tell you guys which company we’re doing the promotion for?” Aiba asked as he turned his head left and then to the right.
Nino and Ohno looked at each other before they looked at Aiba. Nino and Ohno shrugged their shoulders and shook their heads at him. “Actually now that I think about it, Johnny-san didn’t tell us that much. He only told us that we’re just doing a CM for a company.”
Aiba furrowed his eyebrows and cocked his head. “Maybe Johnny-san planned a surprised for us!” Aiba jumped up and smiled. Nino started to chuckle and Ohno was confused. “I don’t think so, Aiba-chan.” Ohno muttered.
Then Aiba started to frown. He let go of Ohno and Nino, and then he walked ahead of them.
Meanwhile, Sho and Jun were still in the dressing room. Jun was fixing his tie, while Sho straightening his suit.
“I heard that you confessed to Kanon-chan.” Jun muttered as he glanced at Sho. Sho glanced back at him and chuckled. “Yeah but you know, I was rejected… Kanon-chan likes you more than me.” Sho said in a disappointed tone.
Jun bit his lower lip and placed his hand on Sho’s slopping shoulder. “Don’t worry, I won’t make her sad. If I do, you have the right to take her away from me.” Jun smirked before he left the dressing room to catch up with the others.
Sho laughed and tossed his head to see Jun walking out. “Hm, I will.” He muttered and followed behind Jun.
As Arashi grouped together, the director approached them with a huge smile on his face. “Wow, I’m honored to be working with Arashi-san. Yorushiku onigaishimasu.” The director bowed towards Arashi and they bowed back. “Before we start the shooting, the CEO of the company just arrived and will explain to you the concept of the CM.” The director said and pointed towards a direction.
The staff members that formed a line slowly stepped back and 3 people came forward. One was in a wheelchair, and the two others were ladies.
“Minna-san, arigato for coming today. Yorushiku onigaishimasu.” She bowed and as she raised her head. Arashi widened their eyes and left their mouths hanging.
“Aoyama-san, yorushiku onigaishimasu.” The director bowed his head and she bowed her head back. “Kochira koso, yorushiku onigaishimasu.”
“Arashi-san, I would you like to meet CEO of the Aoyama Trading, Aoyama Kanon-san.” The director said with a big smile on his face.
Arashi were speechless and didn’t know what to say. She hired them but they didn’t know why. Now they figured out why Johnny-san was so secretive, it was because Kanon was the one who employed them.
“Well I’m not the CEO anymore. My father is now back as the CEO. But I’m the one in charge of the commercial.” Kanon smiled shyly and looked at her father. Her father smiled and he turned his head towards Jun. He rolled himself up closer to Jun and asked him to bend down.
“You better make my daughter happy or I will sue you for harassing my daughter.” Her father whispered into Jun’s ear and Jun widened his eyes. His lips began to tremble and Kanon’s mother quickly pulled her husband back. “Honey, maybe you shouldn’t scare him. Kanon-chan knows what she’s doing.” Her mother snicked and then she glaced at Kanon.
Kanon smiled at her and nodded her head. “Okay, let’s get this commercial started.”
Arashi nodded their heads and laughed. They were indeed happy that Kanon was back with a big smile on her face that they haven’t before.
Everyone started to walk towards the set. Jun approached Kanon and smiled at her. Kanon smiled back and cupped his face with her hands. “I definitely had this image of you when I touched your face. I’m so happy to be looking at it. I love you Jun. That’s what I wanted to tell you before I left. I fell in love with you.” Kanon muttered and Jun embraced her. “I love you too.” He whispered in her ear before he slowly leaned in and kissed her on the lips.
A person may be blind but that doesn’t mean a heart can stop loving someone that they cannot see.
