I wrote his one-shot right now because I totally forgot today was Aiba's birthday.. Oops! (Please don't blame me.. I've been busy for the past month...) Hopefully you will forgive me after you read this one-shot.
Well, 2009 is coming to an end soon. Arashi has been so busy the past entire year with their 10th year anniversary. I've been busy this year too. Actually, this is my last year in high school! Yay! So that's why I've been packed and piled up with homework. Who would have guessed that Grade 12 was so stressful? I guess some of you guys have already experienced it.
This will be probably my last post that will be published in 2009. I just wanted to say that I've been so happy that a lot of people have been reading my fanfics. I re-read all of my on-going and one-shot fanfics that I posted on LiveJournal, and I must say that I couldn't have wrote these beautiful fanfics without your support. I love the comments that you, the readers post up because it gives me courage. It makes me believe that my writing isn't that bad..
Without further ado, I'll end this post with the one-shot. If you don't get the ending, please tell me because my sister read this one-shot and she was having trouble why the original character said that to him. Thanks!
Merry Christmas and Happy 2010!

A Holiday Walk
“Megumi, where are you going?” I shouted to my golden retriever dog. It has been a while since I’ve taken her out for a walk.
I got Megumi last year. I found her in a trash bin while I was taking out the garbage on a wet and rainy day. She looked so sad and my heart was telling me that this dog didn’t deserve to stay in a place like this. I took her in and she became my best friend.
Megumi is nice, caring and likes to eat my homemade dog treats. She loves to go outside and chase the birds and cats. She is stubborn like me, but I love her very much.
Currently, I’m being dragged by Megumi. We were walking in a park that is close by my house. The whole park was covered in snow and today is the start of my holiday vacation.
Today is Christmas Eve and I wanted to take Megumi out for a walk before I leave for Osaka to visit some relatives. They don’t like dogs so I couldn’t bring her with me.
“Megumi!” I tried to pull her back. She was walking really fast, like she wanted to see someone.
I rubbed my hands together because it was really cold outside. I noticed that not a lot of people were not outside. I guess they don’t want to catch a cold so near to Christmas time.
We finally came to a stop and I heard Megumi barking. I looked in front of me to see a dog and a owner. I bowed my head and said. “Gomenasai..” He smiled and shook his head.
Then he started to giggle and I noticed that there was a bag in his hand. “You must want these.” He said and bent down to give Megumi one of his dog treats. He patted her and smiled to her. “You have a really great sense of smell.” He muttered to her.
I laughed and nodded my head. “She loves to eat.” He looked up at me, smiled and then he stood up.
“You’re the first person I’ve seen on Christmas Eve..” He said to me. I nodded my head and said. “I decided to take Megumi out for a walk before I visit my relatives.”
He giggled and his dog came up to me. I smiled, bent down and patted the dog’s head. “Your owner must love you a lot.” I muttered.
I stood up and looked at him. He was blushing. I quietly giggled to myself and bowed my head. “Oh, by the way. My name is Murakami Rika.” He smiled and bowed to me. “My name is Aiba Masaki.”
I gasped and then he cocked his head. “You know me?” He asked me.
I shook my head and then I nodded my head. “I’ve heard your name somewhere..” He laughed and then he said. “I guess I’m not popular yet.”
I cocked my head and said. “You’re popular?”
He was completely stunned. He dropped his mouth and stared at me. “Gomen, I’m really busy everyday so I hardly watch any television. I don’t even have a TV too.”
He nodded his head slowly and said. “I’m surprised. Most girls know me but since you don’t watch television, I can understand.”
Then I looked down at our dogs. They were getting along with each other. “Megumi, we should head back. I have to get ready for tonight.” I said to Megumi. She turned her head and whined.
I bent down and patted her. I guess she wanted to spend more time with the other dog. “It’s okay. Hopefully, we’ll meet again.” She stuck out her tongue and barked at me. I smiled and pulled onto her leash.
I bowed my head and said. “It was nice meeting you, Aiba-san. Hopefully, we will meet again.” I smiled and waved good-bye to him.
I started to walk away and then I slowly stopped. I giggled to myself and turned around. I noticed that he was still there. “Aiba-san, Merry Christmas and.. Happy Birthday!” He looked up at me and was completely shocked.
I bowed my head again to him and started to walk away, while whistling a Christmas tune in this white wonderland.
