Chapter 11
"Pills?" Emi asked. Sho nodded and said. "When we were on the plane, you took out a bottle of pills. You looked like you were going to turn blue." Emi scratched her head and said. "Those are my vitamins. I forgot to take them that morning.." Sho nodded and Emi asked. "Is that it?"
Sho nodded again and she said. "Well, I want to get some sleep." Sho got up and walked to the door. "If you want to tell me anything, I will always be free to lend an ear." Sho smiled and walked to his hotel room. Emi closed the door and slowly fell to the ground.
"I need to tell them soon before I can't handle it anymore." Emi muttered, she turned off the lights and immediately went to sleep.
Emi got up feeling cranky and moody. She got dressed and met everyone downstairs at the restaurant. "Emi-chan, over here!" Aiba called her as she approached the restaurant. She smiled and walked towards them. "Have you guys ordered yet?" She asked them. They shook their heads and looked at the menu. "I guess I'll have Set B.." Emi muttered.
Arashi and Emi ordered their breakfast and waited for their meals. "Today is the second day of filming. The little kids that will be playing us are coming in today." Emi nodded and sipped some of her orange juice. Emi looked over to Aiba and said. "Masaki. My mother message me and I was surprised that she found out about the movie." Emi glared into his eyes. "I thought I told you to keep it a secret from her." Aiba shrugged his shoulders and said. "Well I told okaa-san not to tell anyone... I guess she accidentally told her.." Aiba smiled and Emi crossed her arms. "The surprise is ruined.." She sighed and saw a waitress with their meals.
Everyone finished their meals and got into a van which took them to the park for the shoot. Emi and Arashi saw the 6 kids playing in the park. They were adorable and cute as they were playing on the slide and in the sand. They walked over to where their mothers were. Their mothers grabbed their children and introduced themselves to the big actors. Emi smiled as she saw the girl that will be portraying her.
Emi bent down and extended her hand out. "Nakama Emi desu. Do you want to play in the park before the filming?" Emi smiled and the girl nodded. They ran to the slide and played, while Arashi tried to get to the know the boys. "What's your name?" Emi asked the little girl. "Sato Mimi." Emi nodded and asked. "What do you like to play?" The girl looked up and said. "On the swings." Emi smiled and suggested. "There are two swings over there. You want to go on them?" Mimi nodded and they ran to the swings.
Arashi was trying to get along with their little young co-actors. They were getting along pretty well. After all, they had to cook for children, 2 years ago.
Mimi came running to Arashi and the director. She was panting and acting scared. "Help! Help! Emi-chan... Emi-chan.." Everyone came running to Mimi and asked. "What's wrong?" Mimi was scared and ran to her mother. "Emi-chan.... Emi-chan collapsed." Mimi pointed her finger to the swings and they saw Emi was laid unconscious on the sand. Arashi ran over and checked her breathing. The director quickly called the ambulance and she was sent to the hospital. The whole filming was canceled.
Arashi was waiting patiently in the hospital and Aiba saw her mother running towards them.

"You know you have to them soon. They're your friends, they will understand your situation." Emi's mother told her. It was a few months ago and they were in Canada. "Okaa-san, I want to tell them at the right time. I think they will be frighten, if I told right away." Her mother nodded and walked out of the room.
"Okaa-san!" Aiba shouted to Emi's mother. She was panting and worried about her daughter. "Masaki, is she okay?" Emi's mother asked in a worried tone. "They're still checking her. We have to wait until they're done." Emi's mother nodded and Sho walked towards her mother.
"I think Emi-chan is hiding something from us. I saw she had a bottle of pills." Sho said. Everyone looked up at Sho and Emi's mother looked the other way. She nodded and said. "She wanted to tell you guys at the right time. I guess I'll tell you since you've figured it out." Emi's mother sighed and sat down on the bench.
"She wanted to visit her relatives in Canada for a week without letting you guys know. She didn't want to bother you guys so she took a plane to Montreal. There she was really happy and met her relatives. Then on the day she was going to travel back to Japan. She was in a serious car accident. Like the one that happened with her father." Arashi looked at each other and Jun asked. "Happened with her father?" She nodded and answered. "When she was 3 years old, she was in a car accident. Emi suffered minor injuries but her father died. From that, she decided that she will never drive a car."
Emi's mother continued her story. "When she woke up a week later from the accident. She could not remember anything. Before the time she left for Canada, Sho-san was dating my daughter correct?" Emi's mother and the 4 members looked at Sho. They were shocked that Emi and Sho were dating. Sho nodded his head sadly. Nino came up and asked. "You were dating Emi-chan?" Sho nodded again and he looked back at Emi's mother.
"Anyways, she couldn't remember about you guys were dating and the time period. The first word that she said was. "Masaki." Everyone gasped and looked at Aiba. "Why did she say my name?" Aiba asked. Emi's mother shrugged her shoulders and said. "She thought you were still dating her." Aiba fell to the floor and crawled into a ball.
"I tried to make her remember her memories that she had lost. She recovered some of them but the hardest one was about her relationship with Sho-san. Then the doctors had told me she has retrograde amnesia. She only could remember some parts of her memory. I decided to let her stay in Canada for a few more years until her amnesia attacks lessened. That's why she moved back to Japan a few months ago. It was really tough for me to try to recollect her memories." Emi's mother started to cry and everyone looked down to the floor. Emi suffered a lot during her absence and now they finally knew why she didn't tell them the truth.
