"Where are we going?" Emi asked as Aiba dragged her to a new fashionable building. "Him..it...su!" Aiba shouted and pulled her into the lobby. They walked to the lady who was at the counter. "We are here for the new project.." Aiba said as he started to wink at the lady. Emi punched him on the arm and shouted. "Masaki! Stop winking at her.. She's trying to do her job here." Aiba looked over at Emi and said. "Trust me!" He smiled back at the lady and she nodded her head, like she knew what he was talking about. She placed 2 passes on the table in front of Aiba and he took them. "Arigato!" Aiba shouted as he dragged Emi into the elevator. Aiba let go and was waiting patiently for their floor to arrive. As they were going up, they could see Tokyo Tower and little buildings.
"Masaki! I'm about to leave if you don't tell me what is happening." Emi shouted. Emi was about to lose her temper but before she did, the elevator bell rang. "We're here. Anyways, you'll find out soon." Aiba walked forward to Emi and patted her head.
Emi quietly followed behind Aiba until they came to a stop at a door. The sign that was on the side said. "Production Number X." Emi looked at the door behind Aiba's body and then Aiba opened the door. There were many people, looking at tvs, books and eating some instant ramen cups. "He's here."
Everyone stopped what they were doing and came up to Aiba and Emi. Aiba smiled while Emi was behind hoping that they would explain the situation later. "Let's sit." Aiba and Emi sat down on the sofa while everyone else found a place to stand or sit. "Have we decided?" Aiba asked the people in the room. Everyone in the room shook their heads and Aiba tried to smile. "Minna, this is Nakama Emi, she is a great actor. She has been in many small production of plays in Japan. She knows English and she took literature in university." Aiba smiled to the people around the room. A cool looking guy nodded and shouted. "Okay, we'll put you under an audition. You'll be competing against many actresses." Emi nodded and the cool looking guy left the room.
"Masaki, don't tell me this is my job.." Emi whined as she looked at everyone in the room. Aiba smiled and grabbed a script from the table and Emi flipped through the pages.
It's a story about a bond between childhood friends. The main character Minami Karen, is friends with 5 different boys from different parts of the country. They were her childhood friends. Before they left to live in different cities in Japan, all 6 of them made a promise to see each other again. 16 years later, Karen gathers them to a place precious to them and tells them that she is going to die in a few days. The 5 boys decided to stay with Karen until she dies, telling each other stories about their pasts and precious memories about each other. She dies a week later, leaving a strong impression on their bond and their promise.

"I have to get this memorized!!" Emi screamed on her bed. She was staring at the script in front of her. Today was the audition and she was scared that she might not be able to get the job. Emi sighed and got up to change into something causal for her audition.
Emi showed up a few minutes early and she saw a huge line of girls waiting in line for the audition. This role of Karen was every girl's dream. Acting with all 5 members of Arashi was like living in heaven with Gods. Emi quickly walked in line and waited until she was inside.
The director she met a few days ago was there and Arashi was there. She shook her head and sighed. A staff member of the audition was calling out directions for the audition. "First, we'll see your ability alone. Then if you pass, you'll act a passage with Arashi. We want to see how you're able to act with them. If you get scared or nervous, you will be out of the audition. We only want serious actresses here." Emi sighed and nodded her head. Then she notice that Arashi was winking at her. She nodded and the audition began.
Most of the girls were really scared of acting in front of popular people. They would cry or run out of the audition before they did anything. Emi was staring to get nervous because she also saw many good actresses that beautifully shine on the stage. Her hands were shaking and she kept repeating her lines in her head.
"Nakama Emi-san. You're next." Emi looked up and nodded. She walked to a door and walked inside. She walked to the middle and said "Nakama Emi desu. I'll be singing "Violet Flow" by Ruppina."

"You can stop. It's good enough." The director waved his hand. She nodded and walked out of the room. Emi's heart was pounding non-stop. She was glad that her first audition was over, now she has to pray that she'll be able to pass to the second round.
