Spiritual Disciplines Handbook

I've recently purchased a new book called, The Spiritual Disciplines Handbook, by  Adele Ahlberg Calhoun. It says God gives you desires for particular disciplines. It gives an anacronym, WORSHIP, that stands for:

Worship God
Open Myself to God
Relinquish the false self and idols of my heart
Share my life with others
Hear the Word of God
Incarnate Christ'

That is a helpful list. While inspiration should not be discounted planning and organizing are also critical.
