My weekend was summed up partially in others journal entries, so see Jeffs for my Friday night. This morning, I went to a Key Club project that really rocked. We went to a home for teenage girls, and I just met some awesome girls that I really felt like I got to know and connected with. A flood of fahion faux pas from the days of yore. k_to_the_risti March 27 2004, 23:53:06 UTC
Oh, oh! I remember this outfit I had that was a huge T-shirt and rdiculously long jean shorts and they were both tie-dye with pink and yellow and orange and I was just a mass of intensely bright swirling colors.

Then there were terrifically high ponytails that always ended up on the side of your head.

And for me, personally, it was mostly thise pair of converse that weren't some simple solid color. Oh no, they had a desert sccene with Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote and they were fantastic. I also had a pair of shoes with the ligths in them because those were so boss. They weren't the girl kind that were all pink and frilly, they were boy shoes that I bought in Underground because my shoes had been soaked somehow.

Then, oh my. The way spandex was an intrinsic part of pre-pubescent wardrobes across the land. That was the best thing, I think.

Love to you, Jessica Pety.

Ha yhahah. Dude, Kristi don't you remember that I also had the tie dyed ensemble in different colors? We were so deck! I loved you then. You were just crazy and pre-drama and grown-up crap, you know?

Best thing: ultra-suede purple, gold, and teal boots paired with a black dress with purple polka dots and matching hat. I have pictures, by the way, so any doubters: try to prepare yourselves for a complete visual assault.

Kristi is the only one who really did the 80's right.

Hahaha! I loved those boots so much. They really went with anything.

I'm not ashamed!

I'm also in a severe state of denial, but that's alright. I'm happy here.

Woo.
