[If Teddy doesn't sound so good when the feed comes on, it's because he really isn't. Trying to shapeshift out of the handcuffs was not a good idea, nor was trying to break them using super strength. In fact trying to do anything had just been bad and now he was seriously feeling the effects. Either his healing factor wasn't working, or the poison

[Vic's looking pretty crappy as well. He's sitting down, eyes closing a moment before he speaks.]
I'm still trying to figure out that message. Whatever...this is, [He gestures a little vaguely at himself, meaning the whole sick feeling.] its making it harder.
How's Billy doing?

[Teddy only switches the video feed on because he's fairly sure Vic won't mind too much how crappy he looks. He's pale and he's covered in a thin sheen of sweat, with a constant frown pulling at his brows. He's not used to being sick - he doesn't get sick thanks to his alien physiology and healing factor, so this is new to him...]
Yeah. It doesn't help... [He shrugs and sighs, swiping the back of his hand over his forehead.]
I haven't spoken to him yet. I woke up somewhere else and then... this happened. I hope he's okay...

[Vic doesn't mind. He's a pale shade of green and has a matching frown. He's not used to being sick either, his own healing factor usually taking care of things.]
Maybe...we should put our heads together...try to figure it out as a group.
[He winces.] I haven't heard from him either. Or the others. Who...did you get stuck to?

[Green healing factor buddies, yay! Only not so much so in this incidence...]
Agreed. Someone's bound to-- [He pauses and when he begins speaking again, his voice is strained. Man, he was so tired. If this was what people felt like when they were sick, he was never ever making fun or teasing Billy for having a cold ever again. He may also be going a little green around the edges - hard to keep one shape when your body is degrading.] --be good at solving these things.
[The news deepens his frown and he sighs, glancing to the side for a moment.] It seems everyone's gone quiet since we all got stuck together... A woman named Morgana - like from Arthurian legend. I can't decide if that's... cool or not.

I understand. I do not like being attached to someone else like this.
I have not been able to break the handcuffs.

I'm sorry, Laura. I promise we'll still hold a party!
Neither have I. All my attempts have... ended up making it worse.

Who have you been handcuffed too?
Reply
[His voice lowers to an almost whisper.] Morgana, from Arthurian legends. You know of her?

[ Okay so he's in handcuffs as well, and that's the reason why his face is looking so annoyed. But that's kind of not the point here. ]
Did you say birthday party?
Reply
[He doesn't switch the video feature on because he's finding it hard to keep his shape, and the less people who know he's a shapeshifting super-hero, the better.]
Right. Are you a friend of Laura's? She said she didn't know-- [He breaks off to cough and groan, speaking again, but a bit hoarsely...] --when her birthday was, so we decided on a date! I thought it would be... nice.
Reply
...yeah. I'm a friend of hers, I'm Julian.
But I didn't know-- [ no not going there. ]
What date did you decide on?
Reply
Oh, she mentioned you! Vic did too. Said I should get in touch with you about it.. Poison Handcuffs kinda got in the way though.
[He chuckles softly, though it's cut off by a pained groan.] January 13. I guess we'll have to have it when we figure this out though...

What do you mean "College Humour" Batman?
Reply
[Nope, no video feature for you, random stranger.]
Right. Haven't you seen the videos? [He mumbles to himself.] Ahh... I guess not everyone would. [And then normally.] These guys did a parody of Batman. It's sort of the most amazingly funny thing ever.

That seems like a terrible idea. I mean, I'm pretty sure Batman is a big softy deep down, but I've met the guy, and he's kind of terrifying.
Too bad he's not here right now, actually.
Reply
[He just doesn't want people seeing him turning green because he can't keep his shape properly right now.]
You've met Batman? [A brief pause and he chuckles--ouch head spinning. Laughing bad.] I shouldn't be surprised... given the people here, but that is just... awesome.

[His voice has an edge to it, but well--he's having to keep his calm as best he can.]
I have no damn idea.
This is--
[Erik pauses, trying to deal with a sudden onslaught of nausea. He won't let it on, but this? Terrifies him. It reminds him too much of Schmidt. Of the camps. Of everything.]
--this is their next step, it seems.

[Teddy is seriously finding it hard to figure out why the hell Magneto continues to talk to him, despite the fact that he has clearly stated his dislike of the man. But right now, he's hardly feeling himself enough to argue or even be scathing.]
Apparently. [Oh, it's okay Erik, Teddy is scared too. He doesn't get sick, poisons don't affect him. To have something bring him to his knees that he can't face up to physically is terrifying him and he can't help but think he's going to end up... No. Don't want to start thinking about that again.]
We need to pool ideas... figure it out. Together.

Powers don't work, obviously. This is--
[A wave of nausea hits him, and he mutters something that is unintelligible to Rukia]
--we'll try. But it's a riddle without--any information.

You think? [Okay, that comment's a little scathing. But only because he's fairly sure he's dying because his powers didn't work on the cuffs. He sighs and rubs his head, but doesn't apologise.]
People seem to think it has something to do with... working together. To do what? I don't know.
