I suppose this is where I'm supposed to say that I sincerely hope that everyone's learned something from what happened with that tree, or the orbs, whichever it was stealing the memories

Man, that was the one thing I didn't even think of. There is one. And what would you know! It's Christmas this weekend. Which is weird, because it was nowhere near Christmas back home.
Did you manage to find your friends and somewhere to live? Or more clothes at least?
Hey, at least we don't have to worry about paying for presents this year, hu?
That's good. You know, I think the X-Men are living together, and there's loads of empty apartments. Probably not a good idea to hang out in the cold. Hey, no problem!
[Don't mind Billy lazily curled up on the couch. Head resting on the arm and feet tucked in close as he flicks through entries on the phone. He spots Teddy's and reads it, lips drawing tighter as he totally misreads the first line and glances at his boyfriend from the corner of his eyes.]
[Teddy notices the look and raises a brow at Billy. Things have been a little awkward - tense - between them since the memory incidence. Teddy hadn't yelled at him yet, hadn't really wanted to. He'd been keeping everything in check and nothing had been said to spark him off.
That didn't mean he wasn't still angry about it, though.]
And I'm telling you again, no need to thank me. Seriously.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you guys. Better yet, I think we all need to hang out properly for once. Billy still owes us pizza as far as I'm concerned.
[And then he's flying through the open window, barely able to stay on his frozen feet as he lands in Peter's room. His knees give way once he's standing, collapsing underneath him and he's fairly sure his vision is blurring.]
[Dude. This place is amazing. Like, nerds paradise. Because if he isn't mistaken, he's speaking to Cheetara.]
Yeah, me too. It was touch and go for a while, though, right?
Christmas is a traditional celebration, with religious origins, on Earth that happens in Winter. We share gifts and happiness. And eat a lot. A whole lot. [The most important part.] It's fun!
It was. I lost an important memory, but it seems to be back. [She still has an odd doubting feeling, like she's not sure if everything is back.] Thankfully, we were all able to work together to free those orbs from beneath the ice.
Oh. So, it is an annual festival among Earth traditions? It sounds nice. Are there sacred rites involved? Or traditional types of gifts?
[He gives her a warm smile.] I'm glad. Me and my friend spent some time trying to free memories, and I heard a group of people went too!
Pretty much! It is nice. [His smile turns a little sad, but he gives no clues why.] Hu. I don't think so. Unless you count Advent calendars and candles, but those are sort of just for kids now.

Is there an electronics store anywhere in this weird place? Or a functioning computer? Might be a digital calendar to be found there.
Now that I think about it, shouldn't these phones have one built in?
Sadly no clues on a way out yet. Still trying to not freeze to death.

That's good at least. I haven't fiddled around much with this phone yet. Christmas this weekend? Man it wasn't even September yet back home.
Yeah, we alll ran into one another. The living situation and more clothes are still being worked on. Thanks again for the pants.

[Billy was angry for his own reasons and when Teddy spoke, he gripped onto the phone tighter as some sort of anchor.]
Was that meant to be a dig at me?

[He frowns at Billy, clearly having absolutely no idea what he's going on about.]
Was wha--? The post? I said I was happy things were back to normal. I don't want to talk about what happened, B.

[It's around an hour or so before Teddy gets around to replying.]
There is, actually.
I'm coming over. Could I stay with you for a while?
Reply
Yeah, of course. I can leave the window open if that's easier for you.
Did something happen?

Something, yeah.

I blew it, Peter. I totally blew it.

Save the condescension for Charles. You don't pull it off well, son.

I'm not your son. And I wasn't being condescending.

What you intended and what you ended up sounding are two different things.

I'm glad our memories were restored, too.
