[ First there's a loud tap. Second is a snort followed by a string of extremely foul Japanese curses. These are paused and you can hear the snik snik foosh of a lighter and someone inhaling. ]So, let me get this straight. We're stuck in this city without knowing the reason why, we've all woke up in the fucking morgue and someone forgot to pay ( Read more... )

There are lunar cycles, but no day.

No sunlight? After all this time...

Thanks anyways.

You are welcome.

In any case, the shops are all unattended. Feel free to take whatever you need.

I've already noticed that. [ Sho has found a convenience store and is currently smoking. Old habits and such since he really doesn't need the nicotine. ]

Is there anything I really need to know about this place, besides the lack of people?

Sadly, no sunlight buddy.

And if it helps, pretty much everyone woke up the same way.

Yeah? So the whole toe tag and shit is normal for this place?

What else am I going to expect, or are there a bunch of singing nurses that'll tell me?

Yeap. Thoughtful of this place, isn't it?

[Sarcasm, sarcasm everywhere.]

Aside from it being cold as Arctis Tor? Next to no power, people from all over the freaking place and there's something in the trains. Aside form that, there's clothes outside the morgue if you're still there.

They weren't my style. [ Seriously, sweats? Sho is much more use to his leathers and fine wools and bright shirts. ]

It's not that cold. From all over the place... Different countries?

And here I had nearly forgotten why else I hated this place.

Sun hasn't come up around here for a good few days as far as I could tell. Also if you needed clothes, most of the shops are deserted, so you can at least take what you need.

Yeah... so no sunrise.

What's the catch?

Unfortunately. And here I thought I'd finally get a chance to get a tan after all the bullshit that happened before this.

[Oh, the sarcasm.]

Finding something in your size? Keeping other people from taking what you wanted first? Outside those of us that were brought here, this place is a goddamn ghost town.

Same here.

[ Doesn't bother him. ]

Never had that problem. I tend to take it all back with interest. So no random mugging of the hour from the unwashed masses.

I guess there's an upside to this.

It's a thing these places do. They like to take clothes. 'Cause they're apparently run by fetish freaks.

Guess I'll have to help myself then.

Is there anything else I'll need to know about this place?

You've pretty much summed it up. We all woke in the morgue, all were basically naked, and are all basically squatting in the abandoned shops and offices.

As for your clothing in particular, we have found some personal possessions around, but not for everyone and not everything.

Did anyone happen across a wedding ring, a little worn with kanji on the inside?

I haven't seen or heard about anything matching that description; I'll keep an eye out though.
