[Rinzler's been in motion pretty near since arrival. Exploring the city, mapping out its bounds, trying to learn more. There was no public sysadmin, no clear source of order... but they were still contained, still known and counted, and even the user's network seemed strangely warped-at least in how it's responded to his attempts to reconfigure things. He doesn't like it.
Irritation at general events is driven rather abruptly from his processing as he clears a low rooftop to spot a user doing... something. Strange markings-characters-are smeared across the flat surfaces. Unfamiliar script. And the user's still... glitching.
It's hard to find a better term.
Rinzler's head tips, noise ticking out quietly as he observes the motions. There's a twitch of surprise (unease) as he recognizes the blood, but it's hardly an uncommon sight for the enforcer by now. The program's still for a micro, gaze angled unblinking across the street, scanning the symbols for any consistency or pattern. Then he gives a one-sided shrug and drops from the

[ There's no sign that he hears an approach. The sound he does register is the grating rumble - something that doesn't make him stop in his movements. It reminds him of something, he reasons. It's similar to the sound of breathing through the helmet of a RIG, he idles, but not the same. There's something more to it, a bit more sinister.
But those thoughts don't last long, not as his thoughts are overrun my symbols, instructions. Things he can't even make sense of. Even so, his hands finally stop and he steps back a couple paces, unaware of the presence behind him. ]

[By the time the user steps back, Rinzler's focus has turned wholly to the strange symbols. Nothing familiar came up on either scan, though he stored the user's energy signature for later reference. Visual focus is on the symbols: matching characters, attempting to decode significance through positioning, structure. And memorizing.
He barely registers the break in transcription, but the sudden retreat is immediately noticeable. Primarily because the user's backing towards him. Rinzler doesn't budge, but the growl rises, ticks out in sharp warning as the program's hand twitches up towards his docked weaponry.]
[ The growl is lost to his own murmuring, things about 'steps' and strange minerals that, if asked to repeat, he wouldn't be able to recall. So his feet continue to move, one at a time. Careful, almost thoughtful in his strange trace as one hand reaches to trace an imaginary pattern in the air - following a symbol he might not have traced on to the paper. ]
