As 'barbaric' goes, I think we're doing okay. For now, at least. [She hesitates, wanting to say something about the water, but not having the words. She remembers what he was like though, back in the Quell. A man transformed]

You could always just fill up a bathtub.

[She's not the best at hiding her emotions; her face is pretty easy to read, the confusion, the frustration. The guilt. It's a long time before she speaks, watching his fingers toy with the rope]

[Her expression darkens] Right. Because no one could just tell me what's going on.
