[When the video feed clicks on, it’s bobbing as if the man working it is walking. In the dark, it might be hard to see where he is exactly but after a moment, he stops and a turn of the device flashes it across what looks to be the rail line for the trains. Someone is obviously very very close to the tracks, probably closer than is wise but at

I am not 'Professor', love. I'm the 'other' one.
[He'd like to be sharper in his tone but he can't, as they haven't met and he doesn't hold the confusion against her. Even going so far as the flick a small smile at the screen before turning away.]
I'm afraid I don't know of any other mutants, other than my sister, Raven.
Reply
Wait, Raven? That's here? Mystique is related to you? [She didn't know that.]
I didn't know any before I met Logan.
Reply
Ah no? I don't know anyone named Mystique and the Raven who is here is not my Raven.
[The name Logan means nothing to him either and he looks apologetic and in a surprise to himself, his tone gentles.]
Its really for the best, if you think of me as a complete stranger.
[He works up a smile and waves his fingers at the camera.]
Hello, I'm Charles Xavier.

[ He sets the device down, giving a view of the information center. He's reaching for a map, scribbling a few things on it - thoughts to himself, notes. His mind is instantly abuzz with a series of questions, ideas: what kind of tools he'll be able to find, which ones he could combine with outside things to make more advanced or useful ones. The best way to start this and how long it could take, if it'd work at all. ] It'll be hard to manage without the proper tools, but it'd be a good place to start to find out more about this place.
[ There's a loud scratch of the pen as he circles something (the station and the clock tower, respectively). It'd probably be best to start with the clock tower - at least for him, for his mind. The idea of going to the train station isn't a comfortable one, brings a bitter, painful thought of a woman he couldn't bring himself to ( ... )

[Still didn't keep him from repeatedly trying and had eventually lead him to consider how they might be able to tap directly into the lines that fed the trains.
At the thought of trains Charles felt a twitch of unease. Which was strange because while the trains did make him feel uncomfortable, ill and sometimes overwhelmed, that was a result of the presence he felt coming with them, not the trains themselves.
This was something different.]
But, ah excuse me lost my train of thought there for a moment. I was also thinking if there was some way to identify and tap into these power lines...

Instead his thoughts turn back to the topic at hand. He reaches for the device, picks it up to turn and show the map he's scribbled all over. ] If this map is right, unless the train just loops back on itself.. [ He takes his pen, traces a path on the map that leads to one of the blacked out parts. ] Maybe it's this places way of keeping us out of this area. [ The nightmare is over. Or trapped in a worse one, he corrects to himself, frowning slightly. It still won't end. ]
Identifying them will be the hard part. If it's anything like this phone, we're not going to get anywhere for a while. [ He'd taken his phone apart a few times already. ( ... )

I can't recall it curving exactly. Just that I walk and walk and eventually end up treading ground I've already covered. I don't feel like I've made any turns.
[Actually he hadn't tried making deliberate turns, perhaps he should try that next?
Shaking the thought to the back of his mind he focused to the conversation once again.]
I don't imagine anything in this city is meant to be easy.

As it is, you get thoughtful frowning. One thing at a time.]
Possible to track current with Omni-tool. Would need to make adjustments. Slight modification needed.
[Which he is lucky enough to have back!]

As it is, you're getting a very, veeerrrryyyy curious look because, hello strange slightly humanoid creature on his screen.]
Excuse me, I didn't catch that?
[Too busy staring at the strange slightly humanoid creature on his screen!!!]

Will modify Omni-tool. [Mordin holds up his left arm to the camera and said tool shimmers on. ] Capable of tracking current.
Reply
For now he's watching your arm with the tool and blinking.]
Oh, now that is a curious thing. How are you able to do that?
Reply
Stay put. [He's going to find and come to you. Because why not? It won't have been the first time and he has nothing better to do.]
Reply
Hmmm?
[Did he even register the 'stay put' command? With Charles -at least with this Charles- it can be hard to tell.]

[Loki appeared further down the tunnel than expected but came to terms with it quickly enough for it not to register on his face. He began to walk languidly down the tunnel towards Charles.]
She is one of the best warriors Asgard has to offer.

Man, god thing, who knew.]
Yes, well then I suppose its a good thing she has her weapon back.
