[Hello Abax, have an Assassin on your phones. He's a bit preoccupied with the white, obviously advanced...
thing he'd found. The technology was unlike any he'd seen before and so far he hadn't been able to figure out what it did or was.]I must admit, I'm curious about what this is. Mordin, contact me when you see this and we'll discuss meeting so I

[Harry is very very VERY glad to see you.]
How you doing, man?

Have you found anything out about this place?

At least, he thinks it must be the other self he'd known in the Underworld. He had seen other posts over this device from others who had come from the same place. ]
Where are you? [ ALL OF THE JUDGING IN HIS TONE, AND HE LOOKS VERY SUSPICIOUS/CONFUSED/WHAT, OTHER SELF. JUST WHAT. ]

Was this? It couldn't be... but there were others here. Yet the other man had disappeared days ago from the Underworld. Could he really have been brought here too?]
Altaïr? But you disappeared days ago. [Have a hard look oh younger self.]
Prove it is you first. Tell me something that only you would know from the Underworld. [So not taking chances here.]

When I returned to the Underworld we spoke of a message from Hecate that I had miss.
It was a fruitless discussion. I hung up on you.
[ And he's considering doing it again. ]

Something you did quite often. [It's not a criticism, mostly because he hung up on you too, but he changes the subject pretty quickly.]
Have you managed to find anything useful about this place? So far all I know is there don't appear to be any houses and our possessions are turning up in random locations for us all to find. [There's a brief pause as he works through what everyone else has told him] And Harry says there's something dangerous living on the trains that go by.

Not supposed to be. Was not aware personal items traveled here. Request meeting immediately. Will answer questions then.

Neither was I, and now I'm curious about what of mine is floating around the city. I am available to meet up now; do you have a spot you would prefer? Or would the clock tower suffice?
Reply
You get abrupt, because he has stuff on there and while you may not be able to get on there thanks to his encryptions, someone else might come for it.]
Clock tower sufficient. Will arrive shortly.
[And with that, he's off! After, of course, tucking an amputation knife in his pocket.]

[Altaïr had noticed him grabbing the knife and feels a pang of unease. He doesn't have any weapons on him and the disadvantage isn't one he's used to. That said, the alien does look as if he'd be easy enough to disarm if it came to it and the unease is brushed aside for the moment.
Altaïr is already moving towards the tower. He's using the streets for once instead of the rooftops and so it takes slightly longer than it should for him to reach his destination. Turning the corner he shifts his view, taking comfort in the ability even as he searches for that tell-tale gold.]

Not exactly. I was searching the shops and buildings nearby, seeing if there was anything useful or any information laying around. I just didn't notice what the shop was until I was in. [He tries to pull off a careless shrug but a bit of embarrassment is obvious. He really should have just left.]
But I found personal belongings so it might be worth the teasing my family will torment me with.
Reply
She's smiling openly, but doesn't seem too intent on teasing at this point] Strange, how these things just keep popping up. I've neither found anything nor had anything found for me yet, though, so I've had to find other means of entertainment. Such as making fun of strange men for their potential shopping habits! It's an exciting life I lead.

[Your not!son is offended you didn't search for him yourself.]

This worked just as well. And in less time than I imagined. [Get over it Des. He figured you'd appreciate him waiting to find you till after he was clothed and no longer smelling like a morgue.]

It's kind of a given when you name someone over a network, no?
[In all honesty, it's nothing he hasn't already seen, thanks to the enchanted door of his bar back in the Underworld. But he's still grateful the Master Assassin is dressed up.]
I think there's more than just the people from the Underworld here. [A pause while he considers if he should tell Altaïr about this. And he probably should...] Lucy's here too.

One would think. But better to have someone looking as well.
[Oh that door. It caused such awkward moments.]
I had noticed that. The device I found belonged to an alien. And I've spoken to a few who weren't there already.
[But it's Desmond's next words that really caught his interest.] Lucy? From my world or from yours? Not that it really matters in the long run I suppose. [She's getting lectured either way. You may want to warn her Des.]
