Characters: Anders and Marian When: Friday evening Where: around Abax What: Marian's life is hard, Anders' life is confusing and also they explore. Open or Closed? Closed Rating/Warnings PG-13? None?
[She's fiddling with the cell phone thing when Anders approaches her, idly sifting through the various communications that had been put up. There are only so many things a person can distract themselves with in this place, she's discovered, and flashes Anders something akin to a grateful smile when he offers a new one]
I do hope you're not planning on doing all of that in a minute.
I was thinking of starting with exploring in the most rash way possible and slowly moving to responsibility. [He smiles, and if it's a bit more tired around the edges than she's used to he hopes she assumes it's the situation.] We can't expect miracles, after all.
The miracle would be getting any sense of responsibility out of me at all. [She's noticed the differences, the way he slips up and calls her Marian sometimes, the overly familiar way her talks to her. She remembers him accidentally throwing the term 'sweetheart' in her direction a few weeks ago, but this is different, somehow. It makes her curious]
But! As we all know, my curiosity knows no bounds, and I am the biggest fan of exploring. [She pockets the cellphone and stands, picking up a few of the depressingly lightweight weapons she'd managed to scrounge from the hospital and sighing] What I wouldn't give for a bloody greatsword.
[He almost has to chuckle at that- the Champion of Kirkwall not understanding responsibility. As if she wasn't holding her family safe from the moment they met.] Stranger things have happened. Look around.
[He waits for her to get up, starting towards the city when she was ready to follow.] Maybe we can find you a large piece of metal to beat the unsuspecting with.
