Julian turned when he heard the yell. He sighed. He'd woken up dressed in some kind of Santa's Grotto reject sweater, and what with that plus all the holiday themed drinks and songs that had popped up everywhere, it was pretty clear Christmas was close. If it hadn't been for the city's insistence on celebrating, he wouldn't even have known and he'd have been happy with keeping it that way. He'd even been left some kind of weird Christmas present, in the form of a bunch of cheesey cards that he'd left in his room. God, could this place get any weirder?

He moved to check on Victor, and on opening the door discovered that yes, in fact, things really could get weirder. He recognised those spikes, and rolled his eyes. He had no idea who'd had the bright idea of putting a snowman here, and he had no clue why Vic was being so slow to get out of the thing either. But regardless, he reached out his hand and used his telekinesis to pull at the spikes.

"Geez, Vic! You want to watch your step?"

When Vic gets pulled free, he lets out a gasp. Shivering violently, he falls over unless Julian holds him up. Eyes wide, he looks around quickly. When he sees Julian, Victor points to the snowman.

"Blast it! Quick before its too late!" he says, something having him flustered.

Julian caught Vic instinctively, and stared at him in disbelief. Then he looked up at the snowman, which didn't seem like it was happy to have lost its lunch. In fact, Julian could swear it had moved while he hadn't been looking. He glanced at Vic again, then back at the snowman and realised it was trying to reach for him.

"Fuck!"

He didn't need more incentive than that. He hit it with a hefty blast of telekinesis, trying to literally blow it apart.

"What the hell? When did the snow monsters show up?!"

Vic was wondering why Hellion wasn't blasting. Still shivering from the cold, he starts to say something but stops since Julian's finally seeing what the problem is. He lets out a breath of relief as the snowman gets blasted.

"No idea. Damn thing snuck up on me...couldn't move. Too cold."
