Last night I saw "Elizabeth: The Golden Age". It was worth seeing for Cate Blanchett's costumes alone.

I made it sort of a Girl's Night Out by taking Galadriel, Purple Dress Eowyn and Coronation Arwyen. Galadriel sat in my lap and appeared to enjoy herself. We'll have to all go out again sometime.

I really need to go see that. I need to see Elizabeth as well I haven't seen that one either. I'm sure I'll have to watch it alone though because I don't think hubby will want to watch it nor will anyone else that I know. :0(

Maybe a future dvd rental?

There were a lot of men in the audience but maybe they'd been dragged there by force. :-) Or they were there for the torture scenes of which there were a couple. Luckily, wimpy me was able to turn away and not witness anything gruesome.

Maybe that will be a selling point for my hubby to watch it with me. LOL

Yes, good times had by all. Galadriel was really into all the wigs and costumes.

Did Purple Dress Eowyn get jealous of Elizabeth's Purple Dress? *G*

I managed to ignore her little fumings but Galadriel looked at her very smugly--and the cat fight was on!

It's worth seeing for Cate's performance for sure. She's SO beautiful.

I belong to the Seattle International Film Festival organization and they offer passes to free preview screenings during the year. Bunches of movies. Once in a while I try for a pass. I got lucky this time.
