I have just encountered, likely, the greatest step forward in connecting 3 elements of my 'novel' that I have struggled for the past... year or so. These three elements have plagued my mind, because they have never made sense and for all intents, seemed likely to never work. I am so happy for you Lila!! I wish there was a way for me to continue writing the little bare scraps of a story I've had floating around in my head for over a year now....

But your writing is far greater than mine and I know you've put 10,000 times more effort into your novel than I ever could.

I just hope you know that I would always love to read whatever you've got. Even if it's just the first chapter. I would love to read what you've written..... ^.^

Our minds have an incredible way of processing, chewing up long standing ideas, and making giant leaps of faith to spin them all together. I bet, when you're not thinking about it - things will click. :D

Ah... hehehe thus far, I have more ideas written up for the 'novel' than actual writing. But, I suppose that's half the struggle. Developing separate characters and keeping them unique and separate (and not little mini-shadows of me) is my greatest challenge. In the end - they all sound like me. I need to stop that. :P

This summer, I plan to really move the actual writing part further so I can work on my character voices. I would love to have a reader! I need someone to tell me if I'm crazy or not. xD

Yeah, you're right about that. Even when it comes to the RPs that I do with my one friend, when I first read them sometimes a response comes right away. Other times I have to just sit back and let it come cause if I write it then and there, it could spell disaster for whatever character I'm playing :P

Yeah the characters... That's one thing I've always had trouble with. Making the character have their own thought process, own instincts, that are completely not my own! But it's hard sometimes when all I can really go off of is myself :\ But that's like acting in a sense. You start with what you know best: yourself. From there, it'll develop on it's own if you allow it to blossom.
