At work...

So there is still a lot of downtime at work... My editor in New Jersy has to assign my stories and they usually take less than an hour to write up, unless I can't reach a source and then my hands are tied. Today I got five stories/alerts published and a story in the weekly newsletter published that just summarizes some of teh major refinery events ( Read more... )

It sounds like you have a sweet job, girlie. Enjoy it, okay? And remember if you get lonely in the hotel, you can ALWAYS call me.

This is completely random, but I was doing google searches on Oto and Ito and found your journal. I also work for UCG! (Except I work at WIS in Boston.) I guess I may actually see you on our trip to somewhere.

Wow that is so random. Yeah I just started with OPIS early June, having just graduated from college in Missouri in May. Where does the Boston group think we are going?
Also, when I started someone from Boston had just moved up to Maryland to start working here and works right next to me. Her name is Laura - not sure if you would know her or not.

You know Laura!? She was my peer mentor when I started at WIS! She's an absolute sweetheart. If it's not too weird, tell her Megan said hi!

A lot of people in the Boston group were guessing California as the location of our trip. I guess the clues can sometimes be really misleading though. Last time, one of the clues was "disco" and it turned out that they had a disco party during the trip.

Wow so random... Laura started at our office three days before I did. She literally sits right next to me. I will certainly tell her hi from you.
Many of the DC people are also thinking California, like Anaheim or San Diego mainly. A few are also thinking Orlando for the trip. Then a few are thinking a cruise, or also San Juan (because Juan rhymes with pawn). I have no idea... it doesn't matter too much to me because it's a free vacation. I have never been to California though so I do think that would be fun.
