Also Notes on a Scandal, nominated for best actress and best supporting actress by the Academy, is playing at the Ragtag today through February 7th. It looks like an extremely provocative film and I am interested in seeing it. Does anyone else want to see this film with me at the Ragtag?

What is this Notes on a Scandal business about?

Both Cate Blanchette and Judy Dench are nominated for Academy Awards. Cate plays a teacher of a pottery class at some school. She has an affair with a younger student even though she is in a relationship already. Judy Dench tells her to put a stop to it. It seems very dramatic, despite the plot line which makes it sound like a soap opera.
