... what is Happy Endings?

A comedy series on ABC that's like Friends (the show does a Shout Out for it!), but takes place in Chicago, is much wittier (rapidfire dialogue witty), has an interracial couple played well, mixes around tropes (a straight guy who loves twirling, dresses dandy and buys lotions is best friends with a gay guy who loves sports and lives like a slob) and is absolutely hilarious. If you're familiar with Cougar Town, the brand of humour is very similar to that series

I have a friend who recommended it for the exact same reason when it first came out, then later said she lost interest l-lol.

I'll look into it sometime, though!

Yesss, Working!, Working!! and GIntama <3 So much approval.

I've never really gotten into slice of life, but somehow, Working!(!) wormed its way into my heart. T^Tb I'll be honest and say the lol-larious seiyuu events got me into it, though. *snrk* Any favourites in the show? :D

Also, Gintama is just. Yeah. No one can avoid Gintama for long.

Yeah, it was just charming in its own way xD Umm, definitely Sato-san. He kinda reminds me of Sanji too haha. Probably just because he's got the similar hairstyle going on and he's a cook though.

You have found some goldmines from the telly. Personally like BB Theory myself and How I met your mother. Happy Endings huh? Will give it a try. Am still stuck on Sherlock feels, ugh. How I wish they'd make another season already.

Do try Happy Endings! Not everyone enjoys its brand of humour, but it definitely has a "cult" following like Community and Cougar Town.

I've been watching The Mindy Project. That's pretty cute so far. And Community. I love Community.

Season 4 Ep 11 Basic Human Anatomy is pretty amazing. Jim Rash wrote it!!

It's coming back for season 5, hopefully it improves. You can really tell it's missing something since Dan Harmon left.
