I think it's all good since actors gotta work, yo. But I'm admittedly a bit wary on this project. Sorry, don't want to be the wet blanket, but I'm a bit dubious that this particular endeavour will bear ripe fruit for AD.
I do hope it goes well, however. :)
ETA: I think AD's a much better actor than the role they have for him on this deal. Personally, I think he can do better. JMHO.
Sorry, not trying to be too awful here, but I can't think that professing that everything he does has rainbows and sunshine emanating from his every orafice is going to be a good thing either.
I think he does an awesome job based on the writing and direction he is given. It's not his fault it that doesn't work out.
To be fair, not everyone can compare to Edward James Olmos in terms of direction. Just sayin.
Believe me, I am the last person on this planet to think the sun shines out of his ass. My "wow" was shock as to how you can poo poo on his role in Hellcats when all we've seen of him on screen is one episode for 2 minutes.
