The Like a Prayer video, which caused Pepsi to pull the ads she had done for them (but she got to keep the $4-5 million) and the Pope to call for Italians to boycott her Blonde Ambition dates there. The video actually has an anti-racist messsage. A black man comes to the aid of woman being murdered, but he is arrested for the crime and jailed, until Madonna, who has witnessed the crime, secures his release.
