I'm still processing the whole experience...you know? Like a movie you liked but you don't know why...you've got to think about it a bit before you want to discuss it ( Read more... )

I'm finding as I write that I have a specific idea that I want to convey, but I can't find the right word. The word that comes is too weak or too strong but never quite makes it to Goldilock's oatmeal but that word miraculously appears in the tweaking! Thanks for commenting.

I'm so sorry to hear about the death in the family. It's always a shock. I hope your daughter finds peace with father-in-law's passing soon.

Tell me, dear author friends...do you find that to be true even after you post...do you see things you wish you could change?

Absolutely. One of my biggest problems is letting go and actually posting.

My daughter's biggest problem now is dealing with her husband's family. They are as cold and distant with one another as we are dysfunctionally dependent upon one another. It is incomprehensible to her that they are not reaching out for one another. Thanks for your concern.

When I reread the chapters as they come back from melanie, I tweak here and there and find the word that eluded me when I was writing. It's good to know I'm not alone!

I continuously edit! Doesn't matter how many times I've edited before, I always think I can word it a little better. I frequently have to tell myself no, because I'm afraid I'll edit a chapter or story until it's actually worse from all the editing. Which makes no sense, but there it is! LOL

I'm so relieved to find I'm not alone!

How're rehearsals going, Portia?
I'll be playing Ms. Lynch in Grease this summer.
Not exactly Portia, but, it'll do!

better than expected! Then again, the frist 3 acts are pretty light for me, it's the 4th and 5th act that really worry me.

Go you! I would kill to do grease. Guess I'll have to settle for Rocky Horror next time it rolls around.

It's a fun role and with a different theater group than I usually work with. New adventures, new people...all good!
