I'm having sympathy pains just reading about it.
I actually have one of the few dentists left that does it all. Still costs an arm and a leg (or in your case, a tooth!)

The bleeding stopped. No more gauze, no more gagging. I took a pain med and went to bed. Had the best night's sleep in ... I can't remember.
Today I'm sore, but that's all. I need to be careful not to dislodge the clot that's sealing the cavern in my mouth so my diet is greatly curtailed. I can deal.
I don't know how long it'll be until I get enough courage to explore the thing with my tongue. All in all, I'm pleased with my decision.

Was told I'd need a bridge to stop my teeth from moving. I still don't have one. I'm a tooth grinder at night, so I use my biteguard and it seems to keep everything from shifting. Not like I'm all that younger either!

I'm fine now. The pain was minimal. Hooray. I took my own good advice and doped myself up the first night and slept well. Tricky eating the first day because I was aware of that huge chasm in my mouth, but now I've taken the plunge and did a little exploring. It's all good. And no more toothache. Now I go back for a $125 cleaning and exam and then they tell me about the bizillion dollars I need to come up with for the rest of it.
Oh well, it's gotta be!
