Late Night Rant

I have a ridiculously high bar for my friends, not that there's somekind of standard to be my friend (although there is), but rather what I expect out of them in life. Not for me, but for themselves. I like to think I keep a good circle of people around me now. A bunch of forward thinking, open minded friends, where only the skies the limit.

:( that's one of my fears for myself. i know i'm going places and i know what MY plans are, but am i really doing all that i can? i don't want to be like that. at the same time, comparing myself to those who are more successful usually just beats my confidence (or what little i have) to a pulp and doesn't really motivate me. that being said, you are one of the few people i look up to (not in a confidence crushing way, but in a realistic "this is life, he's living it, and it's not beating him down" type of way). i want to do all i can too. i think if anyone has the right to preach, it would be you.
