I've been to Chicago once for my oldest niece's wedding about 10 years ago. I didn't get to see anything. :( This looks like so much fun!

I am so happy to have mum here; we're getting to do all the touristy stuff that Mister Mooster can't be bothered with. Her side of the family are seafarers, so she was on cloud nine!

Pirate tour with HP references? Absolutely brilliant!

It was TOO much fun! The girls giggled like crazy every time the pirate made an HP reference. It all started with a mention of a 17th-century ship called 'The Griffin' - the pirate used Gryffindor as a visual cue. :)

I've been on a Tall Ship the One and All for an 8 day sailing trip when i was in high school. If you want to check out the trip in Google maps, we went from Victor Harbour, South Australia > King Island, Tasmania > Melbourne, Victoria. Fantastic trip.

Oh, The One and All is gorgeous! What an amazing experience. Google maps got thoroughly confused by that route. :) (Includes the note: 'this route includes a ferry.' Ya don't say....)

What a trip! :D

it was pretty amazing. Even if it did take us several days to get our sea legs
