I really should be doing something more productive.

Maybe it's just 'cause I'm new to LJ, but I'm really enjoying posting pictoral narrations of my mundane life. Feel free to ignore me as I upload my life to The Cloud. What happens to my journal when The Cloud pops? Maybe I should go back to spiral-bound notebooks, but then I have to wait a whole hour to get the photo prints back. :)

somebody take this camera away and slap my wrists... )

The fluffernutter... looks a little creepy, with that marshmallow fluff oozing out :D But then I just bet is a stupid delicious sugarbomb. The chocolate sandwich looks tasty too, though there's also a small part of me protesting the idea of chocolate on toast. (But then... nutella.)

Oooooooo...creepy Fluffernutter nightmares! It's not that bad, just sticky is all. :)

The chocolate sammies were pretty good...kind of a cross between s'mores and french toast.

Mmmmmm fluffernutter. One of my 3 (!) undergrad schools was in Brooklyn. We lived in Jersey City so I changed subway trains in Manhattan, right next to an ice cream place called Tasti-d-Lite. They had a Fluffernutter variety, of which I got a HALF PINT every time I passed by and ate it on the way home. Supper. Hoooo, boy, to have that metabolism back again. :D

Aww, thank you! I always feel the same way about reading other people's photo posts, but somehow feel shy about reciprocating. Like, everyone has all this amazing stuff to show and I have the common cold and an uncommon cat. :)

We're doing much better, thank you. We ended up going to hospital today (just for x-rays) because Miss S's cough was so severe. Pertussis is going around. But she's got the all-clear, thank God. Just a really persistent cold. Whew. :)

A friend of mine put it best, in context of reading blogs, "other people's lives are always more interesting than ours, even when they aren't doing anything more interesting than we are!" I really think it's all a matter of perspective!

I'm so happy everyone was clear and there is no pertussis in your family. My mom has horror stories about having it as a child...
