Honestly? I am not wired to want of my body what is not in sync with what my body can provide. Nor am I set to want what others have simply for them having it, although I do find myself envious when I come across those displaying the things of life that I have long-wanted from drawing my own conclusions...

As for him, I have almost no response to him. He seems to speak more about obsession than about finding the peak of his body. I don't need more of that in my life, I need less... it doesn't speak much to any concept of balance or moderation in all things.

Of course, in a face-to-face, I could read more than just his flexing and maybe would response differently.

All excellent points; I suppose I wasn't clear, but I have simultaneous envy and lust, both because of his build. I very much would like my body to even be close to his, and at the same time I sexualize size and strength (among many others!).

I can see someone thinking, "Okay, and...?" to this as it's a very singular display of the man, and it can easily be (mis?)read as narcissism and obsession.

I can relate - at 5'8", and weighing 175, I was very small and extremely thin as a child - which led to me being bullied a hell of a LOT.

I guess that's where I began to like big, older men with beards - I viewed them as being protective.

Looking like you could protect me from bullies and my father is still a plus for me!

He looks like a cross between stumblingbl0ck and Bundy in Seattle, in the face, and I like his face (and their faces, likewise) very much. The body, not so much, as he could be thicker in a humbler, more modest, chunky way, and I'd be more satisfied and comfortable with that.
