Despite of how they market it, pre-workout drinks aren't supplements in my opinion. The main ingredients is caffeine! That's probably why you can't sleep.
Now, I do pre-workout drinks too even if I workout at night. I know I won't sleep well, but that's a price I'm willing to pay.
You can either find a pre-workout drink with no caffeine, or use a lower dosage, or simply drink it earlier. It all depends on your caffeine tolerance.
I do drink this supplement called Bulletproof to help me sleep. Though I'm not sure you want to get into that mode like I do, where you need a pill to help balance the extremes LOL.
