So I'm about to buy my tickets for Trader's Jubilee, and the main event is a dinner and show the evening of April 10th. Bobby said he'd love to come with me and I've been trying to find other people with interest in going.

But now someone made me aware of Chicago's Baconfest, which is also the tenth of April

Bacon will be around forever. The longer you deny yourself, the more fulfilling a festival devoted to it will taste, as it were.
