What's been going on here?

  • I just had two more crowns put in. You better believe I'm excited about that! 9_9 It's certainly made eating ... UNIQUE ... as having two temporary crowns, one on the top and one on the bottom, has just made eating on that side of my mouth impossible. -- i had a temporary crown once and it was really unpleasant (even worse was the real crown which, even after three visits to tinker with it, never really did fit right.

-- i'm glad to hear straight guy is giving it another chance, and i'm glad you're giving him another chance, and i hope you'l let us know what happens.

-- cute cartoon :-) and thanks for teaching me a new word! i didn't realize 猫 could be used for "bottom" (or as wwjdic puts it, "submissive partner of a homosexual relationship")

The opposite of 猫, neko in this case would be 立ち, tachi.

(You can also say 受け, uke, or "defence", for bottom, and 攻め, seme, or "attack", for "top").

Note that these terms are usually written in katakana when referring to sexual positions.

interesting... i can see how タチ could become "top", but i'd be interested to know how ネコ got to be "bottom".

"attack" for top is hot, in a rough sex sort of way ;-)

    LMAO

    I love that card <3

As far as things with the straight guy *shrug* give him 3 strikes and your out. I can understand dealing with your issues but there's a point where it just becomes a burned. I have full confidence you know when that point is and when you reach, just turn around and walk away.

Do you mean top/bottom or homosexuality? While American gay life has influenced the Japanese, there have been tales and artwork of gay life since the 10th century, and there were tops and bottoms then too, but certainly not using the same terminology.

Until Xianity came to Japan, Male to male sex was much more common, especially amongst the Samurai. Wives were for keeping the household and bearing children. There is an old Japanese saying "To love your wife is to spoil your mother's servant." You loved your best friend... not your wife.

I am always willing to advise and help those straight/questioning men. Some good advice might have made my early out days easier. I just know better than to become emotionally involved. That is just asking for trouble.
