My new opthamologist has this awesome machine -- you look into it, focusing on a picture of a hot-air balloon, it looks at your eye, goes "whirrrr" and the little picture goes into focus, past focus, and then snaps back into focus, and she copies some numbers off the display -- and it takes about two "1 or 2's" to fine-tune it. I was so impressed.

Then they did the glaucoma puff-test and I remembered why I hate the eye doctor. But it was pretty cool, overall.

Corneal abrasions are a fairly common injury, believe it or not. There are treatments for it.
