I now have a VERY cute bear friend that lives in Tel-Aviv who I've been talking to.  Sweet guy, would like me to visit, and even better : he's even more into Eurovision than me, to the point where we've been trading videos from performances in the contest we've liked (SQUEEEE! Yeah, Joy should have gone with the outfit she wore at the national final. You just can’t go wrong with basic black!

Incidentally, Schmetterlinge by her old band Joy Unlimited is now out on CD, courtesy of the Garden of Delights label*. If you ever wanted to hear Joy keeping up with a roomful of free-jazzers and wailing the F-word multiple times, this is the album for you!

*Weirdly, the official site still shows it as an “upcoming release”, even though certain vendors already are showing it for sale. Dragging their feet in updating their web presence, methinks.
