I really really like 90% of this and think it is awesome that you are sharing it. This one bit made me kind of uncomfortable: "The more you learn, the more you come to realize that your body is truly your temple. Take note: it's _your_ temple, and it is a sacred thing, regardless of whether or not anyone else likes its decoration or design. It was made specifically for you, and specifically to suit _you_."

If my body was made to suit me, whoever did it did a piss-poor job. Even if you assume the trans thing is Part Of The Journey I Had To Go Through or whatever --- and I'm skeptical of that --- Allergic to nightshades? Really? I would like to have a word with whoever thought that suited a vegan Italian-American. ;)

Thanks for your feedback!
You make a very a good point. If/when I submit it to that blog, I think I'll change around the pronouns in that bit from second person to first person. (Though I, personally, would opine that your body has always seemed pretty badass and most definitely worth respecting throughout your entire gender journey/process/whatever-the-best-term-for-it-is.)

I'd also like to have a word with whoever decided to make you a vegan Italian with nightshade allergies-- seriously? Really? What the--? Huh? Inquiring minds would really like to understand the logic behind that, if there is any.
