Hi, world. The Burning Man mailing list sent out its weekly thing today. It contained a link to the website of a guy who took a lot of awesome pictures, which got me thinking.

Conclusion: it all went much, much better, this year.

my first burn (2006) was kind of horrible in a lot of ways, causing me to barely speak to one of my best friends for almost a year, et cetera. maybe i'll go back someday? i might have to get sick of dragon*con first. your idea sounds super rad, though. i totally hid in our d6 and read a lot at BM, and didn't like people giving me shit about how i wasn't doing BM right.

part of me thinks i want to go back when i have kids, which is, uh, kinda weird maybe?

Yeah, I've heard a lot of interesting things about birth control. Boy, I'm grateful that I don't take it, and that you don't take it now. :)

I'm still sorry about 07 too, and glad that this year worked out well for you.

Also, it was an excellent near-complete surprise to see you in the audience of my bismuth crystal demonstration! I can confirm that the pink hair looked cool, and I wish I hadn't been so busy with the bismuth so that I could've stopped and chatted for a bit.
