Micheal Bay made women strip for him in additions for his movie?!?!

#TeamMeganFox!

Also caught up a little on South Park (two seasons behind). I bet you when Stan grows up he's going to move as far away from South Park as he can. And Kyle! <3 Only episode I've loved so far is the Facebook one because Kyle was adorable, Cartman was classic Cartman ( Read more... )

I'll probably watch more of the latest season soonish. And I want to watch the two part two hundred episode stuff somewhere. It's not on SPS.

I went to see the movie yesterday because my youngest brother begged me to take him.

Not only did the movie fail with regards to race, feminism, class, and sexuality, it also had overly long action scenes and shitty pacing. Even my youngest brother got fucking bored. I felt overwhelmed because I felt like I needed to sit him down and explain the many different ways the movie sucked. I didn't even know where to start.

Thankfully, my brother kind of spaced out after the first hour.

That's not surprising. I'm proud to have never seen any of them!11

Movie's opening. A long shot of the new girlfriend's ass. As she walks to the hero to wake him up for morning nookie. Wearing his shirt. Which really would not have bothered me much if the movie hadn't gone on to fail in every way.

I get it, these movies are supposed to be a male fantasy, but it irks me that we're introduced to this girl's ass before we know anything about her.

As bad as Micheal Bay...How much can you ask form an idea firmly based in commercialism to being with? You're going to go with what will make you money, no matter how trashy. Micheal Bay is perfect for this.

Are you defending his sexual abuse here?

No, I was calling him trashy. I was defending the movie for being bad.

Uh...you can ask a great deal from any kind of idea, whether it's based on toys, on literature or on spite. You may not be surprised when it fails, but movies based on commercialism fail no more often and no more severely than movies based on books or straight out of somebody's head with no copyright covered derivation. That defence just doesn't work; Flawed Argument Is Flawed.

Not to mention the fact that you decided to come into a post talking about sexual abuse and tried to derail with a nonsensical remark about commercialism.

Never saw any of those movies and I never will. And as much as I dislike Megan Fox, I hate Micheal Bay more for being such a douche.
