I was tired of reading SPN fanfic so I did the logical thing: read the Tim intro arc. I like the kid. He's an obsessive stalker type, which you know, is my thing.

I'm now reading Civil War for the train wreck and then I'm going to read Young Avengers and some Batgirl I didn't know I had. Boredom compels me.

Civil War is terrible but Emma Frost is amazing in it for her brief cameo. Which, shocker, she is always amazing, but still. (Emma stan here.)

What did Emma do? I didn't know have the characters and ended up skimming a lot. It helped with the pain of stupid storytelling.

Tony comes to ask for the X-Men's help and she is like 'lol no' and telepathically takes them to the Genoshan hellscape and asks 'where were you when our babies were burning?'

Oh yes, I do remember that! One of the few good scenes. I just didn't know who she was. She was about the only character I felt for.

TOTALLY OFFTOPIC but have you seen the new Rock Lee spinoff manga for kids? It's...a dream come true.
