I hate the Andy Griffith show and Andy Taylor on the show fiercely. Like, today, there was this episode about Roma (called Gypsies in the show) about being wondering thieves just out to get good hard working white people. I've never watched a full episode of the Andy Griffith show before, but that's...completely horrible. Any respect I may have had for Andy Griffith is totally gone.

LOL I never had any respect for him. I never cared. But now it's on sometimes and I listen to and get filled with boiling rage.

Well, I thought he was a descent actor, who was in some that were fairly mediocre and not without there problems. But what you described just sounds...enraging and stupid.

I only half-watch it when there's nothing else on. It holds no interest for me and after hearing about that episode I'm glad it holds no interest for me. Definitely sticking to the Food Network in the afternoons from now on!

Oh my god I hate that show too. But here in the South? It's a fucking classic show that ~everyone~ loves.

I never liked it. I always changed the channel when it came on. The opening song used to get on my nerves.
