That Oklahoma Law almost made me cry and I'm not a person who cries easily.

I'm fucking tired of feeling like nothing more than a bargaining chip to win votes or a life support system for my uterus.

I kinda really hate they're using anti-ableist language here. If they really cared about disabled babies, they'd, at the very least, have comprehensive sexual education. It's really just about controlling women.

There was a fucker on Fox News who started praising Sara Palin and saying liberals "certainly would not allow a Down's syndrome to happen" and when I heard that I got physically ill for a little while.

The truth is that the conservative movement has been completely taken over by crazy bigots who are afraid that "their America" is being lost to scary non-white liberals. They don't give a shit about the disabled, or they would be campaigning for adequate medical and social support for them.

They don't give a flying fuck about fetuses, or they'd campaigning to make prenatal care more accessible to poor women. They don't give a flying fuck about children, or they'd be trying to improve the abysmal state of the America primary and secondary education system (for poor kids of course, upper middle class white children get a superb education on most cases).

The truth is that they're afraid of women who have any autonomy, especially sexual autonomy.
