Yes, I've been reading Rapunzel/Tangled wank. I'm just so sick of anything feminine at all being devalued. Yes, someone should punish me for I have been naughty.

Mm, you raise a good argument.

And going off on that natural science thing, I so want to learn more about things like biology later on in life. I love books showing how the psyche works, but I also enjoy what makes a body able to survive. The two semesters I had of it were interesting.

I think I often do.

I actually am interested in taking more biology but I'm not sure if I ever will be able to. My main interest is history and social sciences, which I'll defend to the death. But I also love seeing, hearing and talking to women who go into natural sciences.

This is tangentially related at best, but I remember reading an article somewhere about how in the early sixties when they were doing the studies and experiments to prepare for space travel, the female candidates did a lot better then their male counterparts in most areas, most notably dealing with G-Forces. I'm trying to see if I can find it again.

That natural science bit is super interesting. (And also made me happy as a girl who may go into either language or astrophysics, and I'm getting a lot of resistance from one side. BET YOU CAN'T GUESS WHICH.)

Aurgh, I am so sick of girls being devalued in fiction. Not to mention as potential consumers of fiction. Also, Hollywood kind of in general.

I'mma stick with books from now on.

Honestly, it's so ridiculous that I can hardly have an honest conversation about the dichotomy. It's always like, "You know astrophysics involves calculus right?" Like, umm, I can't do math or something?

It is crap. I mean, just look at the $$$ the Tinkerbell franchise is making and say girls aren't a market (Not to mention they're still planning to release three more DTV movies...minimum!)!
